The Poolside Tech Temperature Sensor Kit is a recommended accessory designed to work with The Attendant pool automation system (sold separately). The Temperature Sensor Kit includes two temperature sensors & two clamps, good for PVC plumping up to 2” in diameter. The standard use of the temperature sensors are for water & ambient sensing. Temperature sensors are also appropriate for solar heating installations.
With Temperature Sensors installed, The Attendant will accurately measure the water, ambient (air) & solar temperature and record those values to the Poolside Attendant app.
The Water Temperature Sensor is used to measure the current temperature of a body of water which is important for features such as smart temperature controls & energy savings, as well as our Ready By Time Feature.
The Ambient (Air) Temperature Sensor is used to measure the precise temperature on the pool pad. This is also key for the Freeze Protection of your system so that you are not reliant on internet weather readings & forecasts.
